SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR COMMUNITY PARTNER:
The 100 Men Campaign was created in 2016 to engage men in the pursuit of Aurora’s mission. Led by the 100 Men Host Committee, the campaign invites men to donate at least $100 each and to encourage gifts from other men and businesses in their personal and professional communities.
The 9th annual campaign, which raised more than $35,000, culminated with a joyful celebration at the Hartford Athletic soccer match on June 15, 2024, at Trinity Health Stadium. Hosted by the Athletic’s Green & Blue Foundation, more than 60 excited supporters gathered that evening for an Aurora Happy Hour with pizza and other goodies, as well as beer donated by Fox Farm Brewery (thanks to owner Zack Adams, a member of the 100 Men Host Committee).
The group was thrilled to see Aurora featured in videos on the Jumbotron both before the game and at halftime – and to see the Athletic’s 2-0 victory over the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. It was a fantastic night for soccer and for Aurora, as thousands of fans learned about the myriad ways we fulfill our mission to support women and girls in Greater Hartford.

In 2000, a small group of passionate women created Aurora to serve as a catalyst for positive change for marginalized women and girls in Greater Hartford. Knowing that only 1.8% of philanthropic dollars go to women’s and girls’ organizations in the U.S., the group decided to change that.
Since then, Aurora has raised and awarded $1.7 million to 90+ organizations, benefiting about 9,000 women and girls in Greater Hartford.
The 100 Men Campaign seeks full-year sponsorship support from businesses and individuals who wish to partner with Aurora and demonstrate an ongoing and visible commitment to its mission. The investment for these full-year sponsors, called Aurora Community Partners, ranges from $1,500-$25,000, with an array of recognition and marketing benefits that vary according to the level. Contact Aurora Development Manager Michelle Murphy for more information.
Community Partners who commit by June 8, 2024, will be recognized at all of Aurora’s events in 2024:
