Education and Economic Security: Updates on the Status of Women and Girls in Hartford County

Wednesday, July 25

University of Saint Joseph
Bruyette Atheneum, 2nd Floor Reception Room

Newly updated research on the status of women and girls will be published by the Aurora Foundation in July.  We invite you to come and be the first to hear about what challenges and opportunities women and girls encounter as they seek educational advancement and economic security.

This informational session will offer models of how the new data can be used in program evaluation, grant writing and donor appeals.  Aurora will also ask for your feedback as we plan future research priorities.  We want to know what data would be helpful to your organization and what other resources Aurora can offer to further our collective efforts to improve the lives of women and girls in our communities.

This is a free event.  RSVP by July 20, 860.881.4926 or

This event is supported by the Richard P. Garmany Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving in honor of Lydia Garmany.
